Had Hugin crunch together three images stepped by 1 stop. I wonder when I will get bored of this vingetting? Also, I did no color twiddling with Gimp this time.
This is one of the few times I have tried an HDR process with Hugin and Luminance HDR. Please tell me what you do not like about it, curious if it matches what I don’t like about it. I did go in an chew on it with Gimp for a bit, I wanted the sky and ground a bit darker at different levels. I’m clearly faster at it using Gimp.
A very slow action shot.
We went for a walk around Squires Lake today. When we got there is was about 29F. It warmed up to almost 36F when we left at about 1:30. The ice we saw was incredible. The kids were fascinated with the crystal lattice expression of water, and the power it had to lift the surface of the trail two inches higher than when it was muddy. It really does remind me of finding halite in dry lake beds in the Mojave desert.
