There are many cliches and addages about money and wealth not equating to happiness. At the recent Transition Whatcom event, there were many talks exploring the theme of voluntary simplicity and a discussion during a health care talk about how unemployment might lead to improved health (less stress, more family time). Here’s another study illustrating how when people talked about their possessions, they bored the listeners.
