Well, the kids were very good sports about dinner last night. We fried burgers and sausages and the sat under the rear hatch door of the van while it drizzled all during dinner. But no complaining.

The loved going for a hike on the beach this morning…I spent all morning and two presspots of coffee cleaning up camp. Everything made out of cardboard may as well be wet paper towels now, and that wa what we kept out of the rain. Next year: pavilions, more plastic tubs, more stike-anywhere matches, more firewood!

Glad to be home, out of the stiff work boots, and in comfotable shoes. Time to string up the clothesline in the shed to dry the tent out on.
