I was tromping through Little Squalicum park, between the maintenance buildings and the new construction, and I found some “discarded” trees. The light was very diffuse and I was in a good mood, ready to capture a mix of color and geometry. Print version.

Bark #1, Razar State Park, 2009
This is one of about a dozen pleasant images of bark. I was having fun with my shallow depth of field. Razar State Park was pleasant, except for the droves of mosquitoes.
