This is a really pertinent point about green thinking in America: lets spend more money to be green. Unfortunately, there is no better time to demonstrate, and teach, good bicycling behavior. I was totally unaware that the criminal justice system in many cities is extending criminal traffic law to bicycle infractions of minors. Once you have an arrest record, that will never leave you. Worse, this can be applied in a oligarchical manner, not being enforced…
